Welcome to the "Institute of Maritime Education & Training" - a world class training institute of high repute and standards, which commenced training in 2005. We started our first campus on board a training ship located at Dubai and are one of the few private institutes in the world to conduct their pre sea training courses on board a training ship.

Currently our campuses are located in Middle East (onboard the Training Ship), India and Bangkok. Besides quality trainers, all our campuses are very well equipped with air-conditioned class rooms, simulators, workshops, practical labs and first class student accomodation.

Our Quality Statement "To provide quality maritime education and training to seafarers, at all levels, to improve and enhance the employment opportunities in the maritime industry as well as to increase levels of safety at sea" is one of the key drivers of our success and sets the standards for everything that we teach and do at our training centres.

A very warm welcome to all of you at the Institute of Maritime Education & Training.

The maritime industry is currently undergoing one of the most severe shortages of quality trained manpower to serve onboard the merchant fleet of today. At the rate of about 2000 ships per year to be delivered from 2008 - 2010, there is expected to be a further spike in demand for professional mariners, certified and trained to the highest standards that the industry has come to expect.

We provide a good opportunity to the ship owners/managers as well as individual officers on board including aspiring students, wishing to join merchant navy as a profession, to fulfill their needs of being trained at a world class training institute and acquire skills and certification that are able to assist you to man ships in a safer and more efficient manner.
